Default 21st Cap Wallis&wallis

It amazes me that an old respected auction house like Wallis and Wallis can put up a 21st Officers cap with a Horrid blue plume that the regiment never used. In fact if I recall another auction house sold one a few months back again with a blue plume.
If I am not mistaken a number of these were sold by Rock Island Auction house state side. I am always suspicious of any Lance cap with massive bellowing plumes in A1 condition and more so with these horrid blue plumes

Default 21 Lance Cap

'old respected auction house' ? There must be a reason why some people think they are no longer a premier league militaria auction house....
