Default 10th Parachute Battalion

Is this the 10th Bn badge attached below? Ignore the creepy headless German doll(even with its head it was the stuff of my childhood nightmares)
Thanks

Photographs appear rather cropped, can you tell me more about this awful Wagnerian and teutonic doll, provenance and subsequent fate?

Aah there you are Frank where have you been all week? I have had no-one to alcofrolic with.

The doll is kapput blooming thing, came home with father on one of his foreign TA sortie's, the rest of the photo is quite honestly a disgrace, 2 Para's one of whom is me dad, lying on the floor drooling over a big stash of duty free. Never stood a chance did I?

Frank I have a new piece of timber you might like, I need to take pics first.

I'm not what I make myself to be, its always someone else's fault. Keep up.

Anyway timber(off this particular topic) dated 1942 and 43

Okay, so am I right in assuming you are suggesting because your father was a paratrooper who liked a drink or three, you have not had the start in life that you feel you perhaps should have had?

I'm joking, in fact my dad was a dreadful lightweight and didn't drink a lot, though the photo would suggest otherwise, he was just playing up for the camera.
I'm a lightweight too, get drunk really easily and only drink at weekends. The only bad start I had was having to wear an angel costume when I wanted to dress up as Action Man. Gender stereotypes.

Relieved to hear that, although, not sure how suitable an angel costume would have been, is there any photographic evidence of this latter?

Er probably but I found a better one to prove how angelic I am really, look at that cute little face, so sweet have got a pic of me in a fairy costume but that was much more recent and will under no circumstances make it onto the forum

Why is fairy deemed unsuitable, am thinking, perhaps, a bad fairy rather than a good one?
