Default Permission To Fall In Sirs?!

Hello everyone .. I am Mel Clarke (Nobby) and am 66 years young!

Although born in Redditch, Worcestershire, I have lived in North Yorkshire for some 35 years, 30 of which were spent working in the brewing industry at Tadcaster. (Someone had to do it!)

Joined the Army straight from school at age 16 and went to AAS Arborfield and 3 years later passed out into REME as a VM. During my service I was attached to 1 Royal Anglian, 3 RGJ and 665 Sqn AAC.

I collect anything to the Worcesters, world EME badges, miniature medal groups and miniature WW1 bayonets, and because of the Redditch connection Royal Enfield badges. I am just a keen collector and do not profess to being any sort of expert. Although after reading some of the posts on here I have become paranoid in thinking that my collections consist mainly of fakes and restrikes!

Used to belong to the York branch of Crown Imperial and I have to say that I so much miss those monthly Sunday afternoon meetings at Strensall, both fascinating and interesting.

I know that I will find this place as equally interesting.

Regards to you all.

Mel.

Thanks for the welcome lads, especially AngleIron. Enjoyed my time with the Vikings in Celle '66 to '68 supporting the Tankies in 7 Armoured Brigade.
