Never Say No......
Good Morning Everyone.......
I got up late yesterday a very nice summers day and argued with myself into going to some Garage Sales as I really did not want to go..... I had gone to 3 or 4 and found nothing..... On the 5th I did not see anything on the tables and was about to leave but I spotted a box that looked familiar under the table..... I picked up the box and opened it and it contained a brand new pair of Canadian Garrison Boots..... I looked closer under the table and found another pair of new Garrison Boots and a plastic bag, the type you bring groceries home in, when I looked in, it was full of cloth badges...... Thinking to myself "Do I have enough funds with me"..... I found the woman running the sale and asked the price for all three items...... I just about had to have CPR after she said "Would $15.00 be to much"..... I have taken some pictures of a sample of the items..... 90% of the slip-on's are pairs, same with the rank badges, the stable belt has got to be worth at least the $15.00....... A couple that I don't recognize..... The 2 in a red horse shoe, the white shield with red sword...... But mostly new and old Canadian..... So the moral to the story is Never say No to your body if your brain wants to got saleing...... Mike

"Would $15.00 be to much". I wouldn't mind betting that her husband felt that it wasn't nearly enough when he got home from work and was told, "I managed to get $15 dollars for you badge collection, darling".

Both UK, the 2 in a horse shoe is for the 2nd (National Communications) Signal Brigade, and your sword on a shield is for the 39th (City of London) Signal Regiment (V).
