Royal Artillery Sliders - Yet another Strengthened Pattern
After Matti's thread a few days ago, I thought I'd post this one!! A superb bit of engineering and probably an almost unbreakable slider? Only ever seen this on a RA badge. I've shown two, 1 mint and 1 used!

That one definitely won't be snapping off in a hurry! Gunners are definitely a belt and braces bunch. A bit like the beret badges I have with loops and a slider.
I wonder what era it is from? John
