Hello friends! I hope this email finds everyone well! I stumbled across this badge recently. And I am wanting to know alittle information on it!? It seems to be a ww2 British para troop beret badge? Is this correct ? And in this groups experience is it original? Any information would be greatly appreciated! I do not collect ww2 but this badge intrigues me! Any more photos or details are needed please let me please!!!

It's a collar badge rather than a cap badge. It would have had a matching pair.

I see. This would explain my confusion in the direction the lion is facing. Hat devices I was looking at all had the lion facing the other direction. What branch/service is the insignia? Is it original ww2 period? Very interesting thanks you!

It's Parachute Regt as you thought. The design changed in the late 1950s.
