Bullion Patch with swimming Mamal
Another Patch in my "puzzle box". A friend has suggested this may be a German Combat Swimmer Patch, but I can find nothing to support this. I have checked the Cole book "Formation Badges of World War 2", but it is not shown either. It may of course be post-WW2, or not even Military, but would appreciate it if anyone can identify it. Regards, Clive.

Could be a German Small Naval Craft Badge of late WW II. Is it an original or a fake? I must say I am not sure (and not even sure of this identification ...).

A similar design and thank you for the link. I do not read German, but your title of it is just fine. My feeling was that it could be European or even Australian, but I could find nothing similar anywhere. I somehow doubt it would be a fake, it is far too obscure and probably not too interesting. Regards, Clive.

It seems that this Patch is a German Proficiency Award for Small Attack Craft. It seems to be a controversial Patch and surprisingly, for its probable lack of appeal, reproduced. I am unclear if my example is authentic or not, but am at least pleased to know what it represents. Regards,Clive.
