Default British Family Crest on Chinese Wooden Panel

I found this beautiful handcarved framed wooden panel brought back from China after WW2. It appears to be a British Family Crest and motto. The motto Dum Spiro Spero means 'While I breathe I hope' but I have no idea of the crest. Does anyone recognise it ?
Thanks in advance.

Reverse searching for a crest is not easy, but a motto helps.
This motto has been used by many people.
Below is the list from Fairbairn's Crests.
