Kilmarnock and Green Scouts Band
http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...14/index6.html
These soldiers are members of the 85th Battalion CEF, Nova Scotia Highlanders. The two soldiers in the center appear to be wearing Kilmarnocks and the soldier on the right is wearing a Glengarry. When did Canadian Army phase out the Kilmarnock? The soldier on the left appears to be wearing a light color (green?) armband on his left sleeve. Could this be the green Scouts armband? |

The Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada still wear the Blue Balmoral (different name for a Kilmarnock Bonnet)
