I would guess a bishop's hat, rather than the Pope and that it is probably associated with 'Bishop's College', 'The Bishop of XXX School' or some such, of which there are a fair number in the English speaking world, I'm afraid. Sorry I can't be more helpful. If we knew where it came from, that might narrow your search - UK, North America, Oz?

A bishop’s mitre, would be a more accurate description if trying to identify your badge.

Regards,
Zob.

Default Mitre

Chigwell School CCF used to wear a Mitre, but I'm not aware of them using a bullion version. It might be connected to the school itself though.

Smile Thank you

Thank you all for your help. "Bishop's Mitre" seems to be the correct term.

Found them in South Africa.

Maybe there just isn't any record of them online yet.
