Default The Queen's Own Royal Yeomanry (Staffordshire) helmet plate - authentic?

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if it's authentic because the details are poor. Maybe it was common back then?

The badge in post 1, compared to post 4, looks awful. Look closer at the quality of the lettering.
