Torpedo rating Q

A couple topics ago we were trying to ID Gunnery rates with letters H, P, & E. The H & P were ID'd successfully, but not the E....
but perhaps someone in time will come along with that riddle solved...

However, here is another wierd one I have acquired recently.,,,,,,

Torpedo with letter Q below.

Now I know crossed Torpedos is Leading Torpedoman,

& Gunnery Q is Quarters Gunner,

but Torpedo with Q?

Quarters Torpedo?

Any thoughts???

See my thread: 2WW Early WRNS Badge. A Q Torpedo badge must have existed, even if not listed. This was certainly the case early in the 2WW when the navy was getting organised with many specialist badges, some obviously short lived. I have a gold Q, I also have the WRNS single torpedo with Q (blue embroidered on red).
