Looks more like 2nd SA DIV flash (Circular and split horizontally with yellow above and green below)

Thanks guys. As always with your knowledge and input hopefully I tracked it down. Steven I believe you're correct. I found this reference. Although it appears to be more oval than round, which matches the shape in my photo. The ref I found has blue below. Is the blue just for a different division? http://www.diggerhistory.info/pages-...-col_patch.htm. See attached.

Hi Tony,
The patch you show is a colour patch for the 46th Battalion, Australia. It is a circle, gold over dark blue, woven on jean, and dates to just after the Great War. Keith |
