Elgin Regiment
Hi all, I haven't posted much in the last week so I thought I'd show my Elgin Regiment Officers badge and collars. Note that the back is stamped with a "P" indicated plated.
Enjoy, Greg |

Nice badges Greg. Dwayne has an officer's badge image on the registry.
Who is the maker "P"? |

Yes, P is for plated and S for sterling. Yet again I'm amazed that the manufacturers of such beautiful badged never marked them This badge has many variations in the officers pattern, all focused on the amount of overlay. I seen versions with just St.George and the dragon, others with just the mottoe. I think on the back of Chris Brooker's WW2 book he shows some of these different versions. I'll try to post a Queen's crown version later today.

Another early and uncommon variety of Officers badge with just St. George in a silver overlay. Scully Marked.
