Default WW2 Kangol Airforce Beret

So, this is another one of several British berets and hats picked up at an auction in Germany..their was no description or photos...to my surprise and delight the lot included this and several others that I've posted earlier (RTR beret, general's beret, ...)

Indeed it is good and worth some money as well! Only possible drawback is the small size as collectors generally prefer larger ones.
By the way, its a beret for the Parachute Regiment, also worn by other Para units with their own cap badge. Not an Airforce beret!
Cant see the badge well enough to determine if it is an original one or not.

Pretty sure the badge is fake,
Has the telltale signs on the wing and shrouds....that said, I believe the beret is authentic

Yes, it's kind of strange how some collectors are like that. The same goes for collecting uniforms.

Very easy to do something about the badge, simply remove it and buy a real one, it need not break the bank!
