Mystery POW Feathers badge - 2nd Gurkhas ?
I wonder whether anyone would know what the blackened brass badge of the POW feathers is ( the one between the links of the chain and whistle - in the middle of the picture) - it's not mine but the collector who is something of an expert is not altogether convinced that its 2nd Gurkhas despite being on a card of 2nd Gurkha items. The POW feathers are quite different to the early examples I've seen of the 2nd GR ( before they adopted the upright feathers which are so familiar and lasted until 1994). I'm aware there are several Regiments that have the POW feathers as part of there insignia - does anyone recognise this one?

I cant answer the question but its a beautiful display.
I really like the Gurkha range of badges going back in time, so many to collect, including all the superbly made officers ones also but these days very expensive. regards

I know this not really helpful, but it's very similar to the Royal Regiment of Wales ( 1969 - 2006). Too recent, I'm sure and the scroll is different.

It's very similar to the Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry. Almost ident to Leigh's above.
