Default Professor Charles Thomas collection

While digging around for info about the "Polish Boys Trained By Royal Corps of Signals" badge I found an article about this collection. It includes 8 photos of various different sections of the collection which may be of interest.

I imagine there were some very happy dealers after that sale. Don’t understand how auctioneers think big lots/cards of uncommon badges will sell better than the badges offered individually , unless it’s for their own convenience rather than getting the best price for the vendor.

The Professor was a very nice man although I only knew him through correspondence. He kindly gave me a book of notes and drawings on The Kings Liverpool Regiment that he had started during WW2.
