Default Opinions on Ebay Portsmouth Band item

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2709508669...84.m1423.l2649
Is what is said to be original WWI Portsmouth Band cap badge (but that would make it the original RMA band cap badge that the Portsmouth one derived from I think)

I have my doubts (as I have had with several 'originals' from this seller) and would appreciate other's opinions.

Aspects I do not like is the smooth back rather than being shaped as a pressed badge would be, the shape of the top centre of the grenade's flame and the bland detail of the berries on the laurel leaf.

I'd also like opinions on attached pictures of 3 variations I have. The outer two are 'modern' style with slight variations but generally similar in design to each other. The middle one appears older and is different in a couple of ways: The V in the middle of the cypher is much smaller, the crown is not voided but seems crafted as if to represent the velvet cloth sloping back to the rear centre of the crown - and the berries on the laurel stand out from it.

I'd love to think this is an orignal RMA badge but guess it is more likely that, if it is an original badge, it is merely an earlier design.

I am far from being an expert but something about that endici badge doesn't look right to me either.
