Default Royal Scots Greys

Hi all,
Could I get a verdict on these two Scots greys please.

Just not sure about these. The first (left) might be OK as some of the RSDG badges were made with a solid back, but it does not have the expected uneven wings. The second I would not be interested in.
If I were offered both of these, I would pass.

Default General question.

CB,
I know the Scots Greys badge I've got is a dud as I read elsewhere on the forum that the 'Butler' stamp on the slider is fake. Can you tell me what a genuine front & back of the badge should look like as I have no idea?

Hi Leo,
A simple search on this forum will answer your question. There are many maker variations as the badge was worn for a long time.
