Default 6th SA Armoured Division Rhodesia Orange Tabs

A recent purchase: a couple of Orange tabs with Rhodesia worsted in black. In my collection I have a slip on epaulette with a GREEN tab, so I am assuming that Rhodesians would eventually wear ORANGE tabs while serving in South African formations? Thank you for your advise, gents!

I believe that a number of Rhodesian units wore the black embroidered on red Rhodesia sign inclusing the SR Artilllery. Your examples are well faded red. Very nive titles. This must not be confused with the South African orange tab of the SA Union Defence Force of WW 2.

Is there any practical difference between the use of green backed Rhodesia tabs and the red backed ones, as long as you know? A distinction only for Artillery Units? Could therefore have a SR Artillery Unit serving with the 6th SAAD worn these kind of titles? Thank you in advance for your knowledge!
