Default Unknown Button Crown, Crocodile and IC ??

Would appreciate any assistance in identifying this button please. Its white metal and appears to have a King's crown above a Crocodile (or Alligator) above italic letter "IC" (may be JC ??).
Made by Firmin, London.
Will be disposing of it once identified.

Thanks in advance

Paul

Hi Paul

As said Jamaica Constabulary, possibly also worn by Jamaica Customs (which is what I have them as in my collection).

Leigh

I'd be interested to see one in yellow metal, it could be worn by Customs, rather than the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

I had a quick hunt for it earlier, couldn't find it, I'll have another look.

My mistake - not "JC" but "JLF"?

18mm diameter.

Ta. Closest I could think of was "Land" rather than "Local" but that didn't sound right.
