(British) Army Lists
Does any member have or have access to (British ) Army Lists from c 1964 to the 1980s? I'm trying to track down a contemporary from Sandhurst - commissioned with me in Sep 63 - Peter Prentis - originally Royal Irish Fusiliers later an Army Pilot (Regimental or badged AAC - not known). Any traces of him from the Army List would be very helpful (in connection with a Platoon reunion). Many thanks. Mike

I have a box of some Army Lists from the 60s - not a complete run, though - will have a look.

474037 P M Prentis Is shown as a Major in the Royal Irish Rangers (seniority 30/6/76) in the 1979 Army list, same details apply in the 1983 Army List (except by now he's acquired post nominal "sq" - staff qualified)
