Very nice album.

I do have a question about it. I thought the RNAS bird was in silver as found in the centre of their bullion wire badges?

On cap badge, and shoulder boards the RNAS eagle was silver, these were small size about an inch long.Cuff eagles full size were converted to use as breast eagles above pocket, these tend to have screw posts cut off and thern mounted with a pin. I have seen private purchase full size in silver and gold for full dress. (yet again personal choice)

Thank you for clearing that up casper. I was discussing this last week with another forum member. The badge we were discussing was very odd indeed, part silver, part nickel plate. The nickel plated eagle does have those screw posts on the reverse which you have just described.
