Irish regiment badges made in India

Have an Inniskilling and an Irish Fusiliers cap badge both with markers mark CHATUR BIHARI & BROS
ALIGARH. U.P.
Anyone got any information on this Indian marker, date of manufacture etc ?.

If you do a search, there are quite a few mentioned elsewhere in the Forum. They were certainly active in the 1930s. There were lots of badge makers in Aligarh. I hope to try to find out more one day too !

Those are some very nice examples of Indian made badges. I have an excellent quality 16th/5th Lancers by the same maker.
This maker, along with some others, were likely very small concerns with shops in some of the larger Cantonments where they were made and sold.
