Default 9th Lancers good or bad?

Thought I would keep this bit going regarding the brass strengthing bars. I presume this to be a bad badge, but does anyone know otherwise?

I see nothing wrong with it. Strengthening bars are OK it is just some people have faked them as well. No quicker way than adding a couple of bits of copper to the back of a dodgy badge and saying that it is genuine as it has the correct bars! Bars are not indicative of a gneuine abdge as lots of them are genuine but without bars.

I have one that I am happy with. One bar is flat and the other has a bend in it to pass over the underlying one.

Thanks Alan,
I had the impression from a previous post on these badges that these brass/copper bars were wrong. These badges not very good strikes which had me concerned as well, although that in itself is not always an indication of a good or bad badge of course.
