Default Royal Regiment of Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire - oddity

What do members make of this? Royal Regiment of Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire (RGBW).

A large (40mm x 40mm) pattern badge in a bronzed finish. One piece striking on thin metal with two blades East-West.

From the Marsh fake die I believe. Same as the one on the left below, but with different fittings. Not unusual for 'him/them' to shove fakes out with various fittings. I presume as a sales tactic.

My example is a single stamping with sphinx and cross from one piece of metal - very light weight.
