Default Reserve Regiment of Lancers question

Hi all,

The short lived Boer War Her Majesty’s Reserve Regiment of Lancers circa 1901 cap badge I have seen with four loops. Could anyone please advise me as to the difference in the collar badges they wore or were they the same as the cap badge.

Thanks in advance, Dean

Many thanks Luke - in the K&K Vic cavalry set they look the same size and I wondered if the collars may have been with two loops but only examples I have seen have four. Thanks for confirming, cheers Dean

The same design was worn in cap, collars and titles so they are more common than the other Reserve Cavalry regts' cap badges.

Many thanks Alan yes and market pricing reflects it thankfully. Just plugging gaps in Vic cavalry collection. Cheer Dean
