Default My Golden Opportunity?

All,

I have an opportunity to purchase a Glider Pilot Regiment set with:
AAC hat badge, Shoulder title, Pilot's wings, #2's wings

What's a nice price range band on these. I trust the vendor and believe they're all original. I'm a medals guy and this may well be my first forray into the insignia game.

All help is apprecated!

Sorry, no pics.

As you do not state what the badge is made of I would counsel caution. Firstly metal ones are much less expensive. Secondly due to the popularity of collecting airborne insignia, they have been widely faked. Even the berets command high prices and have been faked and doctored to decieve.

Thanks for the responses!

For the record, the hat badge is metal, and is the one with "AAC" on it with the eagle facing right, as opposed to the Glider Pilot Regiment enscribed hat badge with the eagle pointing left.

Default How about a plastic GPR badge?

How much would be a reasonable price for a wartime plastic economy Glider Pilot Regt (AAC) badge?

£40-50 but be careful that the back is maker marked as they have been faked for re-enactors. Odd that some many of them want to 'be in' the SAS and airborne compared to the number in the RASC....
