Default Victorian R.M.L.I. officers

A recent purchase. The photograph was taken in the studios of George West & Son, Gosport. Sadly, there is no indication of who the officers might be.

A very nice and scarcely seen photo. I would guess it to be late 1890s as the seated field grade officer (Lt. Col. ?) still has the earlier rounded corners to the collar, whereas the Lt. standing has the slightly higher square collar that came about at approximately that time.

I was hoping that there might be a way to identify them, it occured to me that they might be brothers, but there is no way of telling,

Could be, the eyes, ears and nose all look remarkably similar.

Quite a display of corsetry from the seated lady left! I’ve seen wasps with wider midriffs.

They all look to be from the same family to me. "Cookie dusters"
