Canada silver metal titles
Picked up a box of badges, and in it were some silver or silver plated CANADA nationality titles. These are maker marked ELLIS BROS. The lugs are somewhat different than the norm, in that they have no neck and the eyelet is fixed right on the title.
Any ideas as to who wore these? |

It was suggested to me at the Ottawa show that these may be Boer War issue. Any thoughts?

strange lugs
hi bill, i have a couple of badges to the driscoll scouts (a colonial division unit) who fought only in the boer war, formed 1900-1902, and although the badges are sheet brass they have this same loops as you describe (just a circle with no neck) not normal lugs. regards john
