Picked up a few things on my trip out west. The Black Watch may be British? It isnt in my normal collecting field but looked old with the Victorian crown. Dont know what it is worth but could be up for sale or trade. The Union Jack is attached to a seven foot pole. Cheers Brian

Here is some better scans. One lug has been repaired but looks like an old repair. I think it may be British, if it is I would be willing to trade. Any idea on value? Thx Brian

Hi Mr Brian First I can Assure you I'm no Badge collector or even a Guru I Have 3 badges, Whoever all Canadian Black Watch im more into 13th Batt. The Crown looks like it's been bent, only the 42nd wore a similar badge like yours with the Bottom that looks like a Lion with that Wig on It, lol. I'm sure theres a proper name and Mr.Bill would know much better then I. This Picture is from BCBF Library and worn only by the 42nd then years later they added the Canada. In good original condetion this badges I've seen from $80.-150 depending who's selling them. The Bottom Picture is a 42nd Canadian Black Watch. Note the Difference of the Lion Human Face from yours to the Canadian one |
