Forage caps and other badged headdress
Some of you may know that I am working on a 200 year illustrated history of Canadian militray headdress. Some examples of caps are;
I am still looking for pre-WWII caps (and helmets, shakos, wedge caps, busbies, etc..), with which to illustrate the book. If you have one or 100 please contact me to arrange for photos. The cap should be in good condition although I can live with a missing chinstrap. I am also looking for good contemporary photos; This book has had the support of over 20 regimental museums, several provincial and municipal museums, Parks Canada and countless private collectors. I would appreciate any help/contributions that would make this a landmark publication of Canadian militaria. Thnx, Clive

Hello Clive, I have an interest in this project for sure. Unfortunately, I am unable to contribute anything constructive or images, as I have very little in my collection in the way of headgear, and certainly nothing that fits the scope of what you are looking for.
However, having said this, I am looking forward to the release of this work.
