What badge is this?
This is a nice Colonial Pattern helmet but I don't know the badge. The medals and case are to the 92nd but the badge looks like Veterinary? The helmet has botha spike and a bal finial so there is no clue there.

Army Veterinary Department?
Hi Clive, That is one nice helmet. I believe the helmet plate is to the Army Veterinary Department, a predecessor of the RCAVC. Perhaps there were so few veterinaries in the Canadian militia, and with the close connection between the British army and Canadian militia pre-1914 that Taschereau purchased an imperial helmet plate?
