Default KOSB - Flat Lugged, Magnetic and Rusty.

Arrived today, a flat lugged KOSB, it's magnetic and it has rust that doesn't appear to simply be staining transfered by contact with a another item.
I have other flat lugged badges (which I haven't tested with a magnet) but I think it's the first "rusty" badge I've acquired.

I think this is to be expected of a badge that has been produced by someone using material to produce a King's Own Scottish Borderers cap badge where the sealed pattern for this badge is of white metal and the lugs to boot are completely alien, in fact the whole concept of this badge screams of something just not quite right, and utterly alien to the KOSB.

Kind regards
Hiram

Your badge is I believe from the FN die.

Thanks, I'd seen the linked thread in the past, interesting that the die used was a FN one.
