Default Queen’s Edinburgh Rifles S/G collar

As I’ve started cataloguing all of my officers’ insignia (for dispersement), I thought I’d share some of the nicer bits with the forum.

Officers’ collar badge, 4th or 5th (Queen’s Edinburgh Rifles), The Royal Scots; silver with gilt overlay (Churchill 22). A lovely badge which I believe would qualify as “rare”. The marking on the back is for Marshall & Aitken, an Edinburgh tailor and outfitter. The registration number corresponds to 1909.
