Default POLICE BADGE

I brought the attached badge today and wonder if any of our police buffs can give me any information regarding it please?
It is made of brass with Queens crown, has a slider but no other markings etc.
It was with a number of Commonwealth/Overseas badges but no clue as to where it is from.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry,

I've never seen anything like that before. I doubt it being from the UK, probably Colonial

Dave.
