Default Wessex Brigade & Regiment

Good afternoon
Could anyone tell me if there was such a thing as a Wessex Brigade Officer's cap badge for the No 1 dress cap made in Hall Marked Sterling Silver? If there was has anyone got a good photograph of one.
Also a photograph of a 2nd Battalion Wessex Regiment shoulder title with blue enamel(the 1st Battalion had black enamel)
Great forum always learning. Many thanks if you can help Neil

Thanks David as always for your reply. Do you know of anyone who has a photo of these shoulder titles so I will know what to look out for?

Thanks again David. As you know the Regiment was only in existence from 1967 to 1995 but there is so much to collect that I don't know about (even though I served in it). Any help is always appreciated. Regards Neil

Neil,
Also be aware that white on red cloth embroidered titles WESSEX and WESSEX REGT exist but I am pretty sure they were only worn in 1950s films like ‘Private’s on Parade’ and 1960s TV dramas.

Thanks Tim, very good thread about the Wessex Regiment. Have printed it out for reference.
If someone has a photo of the silver cap badge and 2nd Battalion Shoulder title or even the green enamelled one mention by David I would be very pleased to hear from them.
Thanks for the advice about cloth embroidered titles, the soldiers in the film Harry's Game were wearing blackened wyvern cap badges!! well after the end of the Wessex Brigade.
Look forward to talking again. Neil
