14th/20th Hussars Gold anodised.
Can anyone help with the dates when this badge was in use?

This has been mentioned before.
I recall the consensus was up to 70 or 72. The first black hawks were black paint on gold anodised before the black anodised version came in. |

Tony, I have notes on the date changes:- gold, cloth, black and gold etc at home. Away tonight, I'll post tomorrow unless somone beats me to it.

14/20H anodised cap badges
Chaps, I have notes as the following:-
Gold anodised cap badge : 1964 - 1969 Gold & black cap badge : 1969 - 1979 (these are found both made black & gold and the obsolete gold examples with black parts hand painted) Cloth beret badge : 1979 - 1984. Gold & black : 1984 onwards. Presumably the black and gold carried on being worn in the service cap from 1979 onwards. |
