Default 2ND TS TITLE

This appears to to be a sheet brass hand cut slouch hat badge. Similar to many South African badges worn during the Boer War. The 2nd Transvaal Scottish raised Sept 1914 disbanded August 1915 makes this quite a rare badge. Any T.S. experts out there?
Ron.

Hi Ron, I am by no means a Transvaal Scottish expert, but as you stated this is a very nice badge and not common at all. I have 2 variations of it in my collection. It was worn on the side of the helmet in the First World War during the German South West Africa campaign. I actually have the great granddaughter of one of those guys working with me. She has some nice pieces from her great grandfather. Regards Andrew
