Hi QSAMIKE,

Very nice little set. Nice to see the SAC still on the tabs, also a very nice Damant's Horse with the "Tiger", being the Rimington Tigers(Guides) previously. Do you collect these? Or is it a side line?

Regards

Andrew

Default SAC Shoulder Tab

Hi Mike, I just managed to pick up a SAC shoulder tab the same as you have in this picture. It does not have a button. Can you please take a close up picture of the button on the tab for me, so I can see if I can find one and complete mine. Thank you. Regards Andrew

Hi Mike,

Thank you for the quick reply. I guess I will be digging through my box of buttons tonight. Could you please measure the diameter of the button for me. Have a grand Easter. Regards Andrew

Hi Mike, I found a button after much scratching. It is made by a different company, but is identical. I will put it with my tab and start looking for one by the correct manufacturer. Thank you for the help. Regards Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Buttons, as with badges have a variety of manufacturers and types, mostly dependent on contract awards and changes. The following are examples of SAC buttons and manufacturers so I don't think there is a "correct" one, the example you have should be fine and correct.

QSAMike - I am fascinated in your interest in all things 'Clare' ! Do you include Clare College, Cambridge, by any chance ?
