Cant make out any shoulder titles, but you can see Murray tartan behind the badges.

Default SA Scottish button from WW1

Thanks for this informative post. I assume this refers to the WWI era. In my family collection of militaria is a small button which I believe to be a tunic sleeve button of the SA Scottish, in which one of my great-uncles served on the Western front. (See attached photo). Can anyone confirm this? It bears the regimental motto Mors mihi lucrum.
