Couldnt see nothing to New Zealand any longer- attached is a photo of Pte.W.S.Manship NZEF wearing the badge of the 28th Reinforments.

Thank tou, 8th foot, for your posting, as a result of which I Googled 'NZ Infantry Reinforcement hat badges', and was fascinated to read of the many unofficial badges adopted by N.Z. Reinforcements.

Clicking onto the sub heading 'NZ Inf Repros 2', I found the badge of the
28th Reinforcements, as in the photograph you posted.

This caught my attention as only a few days ago I had been reading on the Australian Light Horse forum of the 28th Reinforcemnts to Australian Light Horse Regiments, and was curious about a New Zealand connection, and there we are - a brand new field I had not known of, and one I found of great interest.
