Yet another identification with which I would appreciate assistance. Is/was this used by West Midlands Police as a cap badge?

Michael,

I can confirm that it has never been worn by West Midlands Police as a cap badge. That said, I can recall seeing it previously and seem to think that it is/was worn by their civilian staff/drivers etc.
