Default Help with ID please.

Got this today more out of curiosity than anything, havent a clue as to identification ,don't think its military. Do any of you guys recognise the coat of arms. Measures 36x27mm.

Park keepers, school caretakers, drivers etc, my uncle was a park keeper in Kennington park and wore this on his cap which as I recall was brown as was the uniform. Worn early 70's

Cheers for that Steve, reply made me Google Deryck Gyler as Caretaker on Please Sir but he wears a GLC badge later date I expect.

A minor tidbit here: can't recall enough of my heraldry to 'blazon' it for you, but the crown is referred to as a 'mural crown' and used almost exclusively for coats of arms of cities and towns, though I think one of the early British Indian campaign medals uses one to commemorate the defence of a city.
