Default identify a british soldier (mess kit)

can you help me with this Army Service Number ?

I find The Royal Warwickshire Regiment

what about 5117102 ?

Not Royal Warwickshire Regiment but Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. He certainly first enlisted into the Royal Warwickshire Regiment as the number falls within their allocation: Royal Warwickshire Regiment 5094001 - 5172000


1st Btn. Ox & Bucks L.I.
5117102 Bennett. Pte. D. Wounded. 08/07/1944. North West Europe, which at this date, is almost certainly France.
