I believe it’s a good attempt at a lost wax cast copy. Note the bobbles and flaws on the lettering and borders plus the poorly defined and rough edges of the badge, all features synonymous with a casting.

Have attached pics below so this thread can be of use one the eBay listing finishes and link eventually dies.
