This badge has been exceedingly well faked. I have an old restrike and there are lots for sale on ebay as pictured below. The first 2 are copies and have exactly the same die flaws as my fake. Someone has made an exceptionally good die both front and back.

The third badge is slightly different and lacks the flaw in the feathers on the chest and the excess metal around the top of the scepture. Does anyone have another to show or a catalogue picture from Bosleys?

The flaws are minor but I have circled them here. Apart from these the only differnce is in the style of the back of the head and the design of the feathers on the front of the tail but these are difficult to see in a photo.
