Default County of London Yeomanry

I would be grateful if someone could give me a lead on this one. It appears to be cast bronze with the stubs of blades on the rear. The rear is coated in a thick black substance. the size is 40x35 mm, far smaller than the normal or's cap badge.

Not seen one before but it may have been localy made to fit a helmet or trophy shield ?

Your badge has the exact same dimensions as the Rough Riders OSD cap badge:
