Not sure if it is even legal to Hallmark S/G badges, as the gilt part tends to be made up of a gilded base metal.

Will you take £21 for it???

Hi Gordon,

Keep your eyes open for the new ' Aviva ' advert starring Paul Whitehouse, this time he's a fly fisherman, he uses a particularly familiar word at the start of the ad ????

Dave.

Unlike Lennie Henry and the advert for weekend hotel rooms,Paul Whitehouse in the Avia advert ( if it is the one I am thinking of ) at least looks like he knows how to cast a fly line.

Smile RSG/17th Lancer's Mottos

Hi Griff

Happy New Year to your self and all, sorry my email has been down for a month.

Now lets see if I can find an Aussie expression for the RSG, what a Bloody Beauty !!

Also the long nose Motto is a fine one too, I now have 2, they are very flat rather than being domed as normal and have a slider and ears so I assume that they are an early 17th lancer issue.

Regards

Phil.

Thanks Phil

We have a donated WW1 "belt" at the museum..... and the long nose is on it amongst other original badges.
