Default Liverpool Scottish & Guards Machine Gun. Real or Fake? Any help appreciated.

Hi, hope everyone is well.

I have these 2 badges here and would like to know everyone's opinion on whether they're genuine or not.

Thanks,
Arran

My feeling is they may both be OK. I cannot go as far as 100% sure. Regards, Paul.
Further-Just had a look at forum albums. Looks to me that you have 2 good badges.

The L'pool Scottish is fine. Don't know about the Guards MG, but having a slider is a good sign.

The rear of the GMGB does have a slight cast look to areas of the rear, but as far as I know that type is generally thought to be OK. Anyone have further thoughts on it? Regards, Paul.

I agree with Paul in his thoughts , both look ok from the pictures.

The Liverpool Scottish one piece badge is WO Pattern 9392/1917 and was obsolete in 1937. Some don't lke the flat footed loops but it looks OK to me.
